ONEG Room Acoustic Upgrade
This is the ONEG room at Congregation Beth Torah, a synagogue in Richardson Texas.
This room has ceramic floors and hard plastic ceiling tiles, instead of normal acoustic ceiling tiles. Between the ceramic floor and reverberant ceiling tiles, even conversation across a table, with no sound system on, was hard to understand what the person was saying. This made it hard to enjoy meetings, dinners, gatherings and special events in this space. And when music or speech from the sound system was a part of these events it was even worse!
After the installation was complete the improvement was amazing and very apparent. The staff and members took immediate notice and were very happy with the end result.
Our installation demo and testing with voice and sound system sources showed a huge improvement! The reverb time was reduced by an estimated 2 seconds which also vastly improved the intelligibility and understanding.
